Terms and Conditions
Overview
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all music production services provided by Matías Veloso ("Mati Veloso", "I", "me") through mativelosoproducer.com. By requesting a quote, paying for a project or using this website, you ("the Client") agree to these Terms.

Services, payment and delivery
1. Services
I offer music production services, including the recreation of AI-generated songs (Suno, Udio and similar platforms) and demos with real and virtual instruments, music production, mixing and mastering. The scope, deliverables, price and delivery time of each project are set out in a written quote sent to the Client before the work starts. If a quote differs from these Terms, the quote prevails for that project.
2. Quotes and scope
Quotes are based on the information and reference material provided by the Client: song length, arrangement complexity, instruments and deadline. Changes to the arrangement or melody, additional instruments, session musicians, vocal production, extra songs or extra revisions are not included unless the quote says so, and are quoted separately.
3. Payment
Projects are paid 100% in advance. Work starts once the full payment has been received. Accepted payment methods are Remitly, Payoneer, Wise and bank transfer. Payment details are included in each quote. Prices are in US dollars. Any transfer, bank or currency conversion fees are paid by the Client, so that the full quoted amount is received.
4. Refunds and cancellations
All payments are non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise. If the Client cancels a project after payment, the payment is not refunded. If I am unable to start or complete a project for reasons attributable to me, I will refund the part of the work that was not delivered.
5. Delivery times
Delivery times are estimates and are set in each quote. A recreation of a song of up to 3 minutes usually takes 20 to 30 days, depending on its complexity. Delays in receiving materials, feedback or approvals from the Client extend the delivery date accordingly. Files are delivered digitally (for example through WeTransfer, Dropbox or Google Drive) in the formats stated in the quote.
6. Revisions
Each project includes 2 revisions: 1 before final delivery and 1 after final delivery, unless the quote says otherwise. Revisions are adjustments to the agreed work, such as levels, sounds or performance details. New arrangement ideas, structural changes or changes to the original reference are new work and are quoted separately.
7. Client materials
The Client provides the reference track, lyrics, melody, vocals, stems and any other material needed for the project, and confirms that they own this material or have the right to use it. For AI-generated songs, the Client is responsible for complying with the terms of the platform used to create the original song (for example Suno or Udio), including any limits on commercial use. I am not responsible for claims that arise from material provided by the Client.
Rights, liability and legal terms
8. Rights and ownership
Once the project has been paid in full, I assign to the Client 100% of the commercial rights to the recordings and productions I create for the project (the recordings, stems, mixes and masters delivered). The Client may release, distribute, monetize and license them without paying royalties to me.
I do not claim ownership of the Client's composition (lyrics and melody). Ownership of the composition depends on the Client and, where applicable, on the terms of the AI platform used to create it.
Performances by session musicians included in a quote are delivered under these same terms. Singers that I recommend are hired directly by the Client, under the terms agreed between them.
9. Portfolio and confidentiality
I do not share the Client's unreleased material with third parties, except with musicians or collaborators directly involved in the project. Once the song has been released, I may use short excerpts of my work in my portfolio and promotional material, unless the Client asks for confidentiality in writing.
10. Limitation of liability
My total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount paid by the Client for that project. I am not liable for indirect damages, such as loss of profits or streaming income.
11. Website content
The texts, images and audio on this website belong to me or are used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without authorization.
12. Changes to these Terms
I may update these Terms at any time. The version published when a quote is accepted applies to that project.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Argentina.
